| River Valley Machinery, Inc. was formed in the summer of 2003 when Auburn Machinery, Inc. closed its doors. Faced with hundreds of active customers and machines being without parts and service several long-term Auburn Machinery employees joined forces with a long-term former planer mill customer of the Pinheiro line to create River Valley Machinery, Inc. |

| Pinheiro Surface Planers are excellent machines for rough and fine finish planing with the ability to handle wide cupped lumber without splitting. With their modular design, River Valley's surface planers allow for expansion from double surfacers to full planer/molder for the future. Our surface planer models range in size and production capability to meet most production and budget requirements. |

| The Pinheiro planer molders are excellent machines for small to medium size sawmills and specialty manufacturers needing wider or thicker capabilities. Pinheiro planer molders are considered the premier machines for the wide plank flooring and Log Cabin industries. The Pinheiro 1000 series is the machine for many if not most of the largest and most successful log cabin manufacturers in the world. |

| Our rip saws come in 2 series; the AMA 300 & the AMA 450. The 300 series is equipped with a 12" Arbor and 24-125hp Motors. The 450 series rip saw is equipped with an 18" Arbor with outboard bearing and 20-115hp Motors. |
| » Flooring Machines |
| It is considered best practice in producing high quality flooring to first skip plane the rough boards. This allows an appraisal of the potential finished sides for defect, color and grain pattern that is the hall mark of extreme high quality. |
| » Timber Sizers |
| The Pinheiro planers and planer molders are used extensively in the timber industry both in the United States and in Europe. The 800/MF series allows for four sided planing of material up to 8" thick and 20" wide. The 1000 series, however, was specifically engineered for the timber and Log Cabin Industry. |

This surface planer is used extensively in WIDE PLANK FLOORING MILLS, SMALLER LOG CABIN MANUFACTURERS, & SMALL TO MEDIUM SAW MILLS. It is an older style machine featuring a chain and sprocket feed, and a table that adjusts for thickness. |
