In the sawmill the versatility of the Pinheiro planer molders allow for the manufacture of product as small as 1-1/2" x ½" to 12" x 34" depending on the model. A true planer molder the Pinheiro line is rugged enough for rough applications but capable of producing high-end molder quality finish.
They come in 3 series; 600, 800 & 1000.

Pinheiro 600 Series:
This is the most basic model planer molder in the Pinheiro line. It is 18" wide and is has powered feed rolls on the top only with idler rolls on the bottom. The bottom head is in the first position to efficiently handle even wide cupped boards. While the 600 series opens up to 6" thick it is not meant for the planing of beams. Extremely compact it allows for a great deal of versatility in a small footprint.
Pinheiro 800/MF Series:
The 800/MF is no longer available new. This versatile machine is still offered by River Valley after a complete reconditioning program. This machine is 24" wide when used as a double surface planer 20" wide when used as a four-sided planer molder and can open to 8" thickness for beam and log cabin planing. This machine features both top and bottom powered feed rollers. The 800/MF Pinheiro planer molder is well known in the wide plank flooring industry and the log cabin industry. Many Log cabin industry leaders started with the Pinheiro 800/MF and have grown into the Pinheiro 1000 series planer molders.
Pinheiro 1000 Series:
The 1000 series planer molder is specifically engineered with the sawmills, wide plank flooring mills, and larger log cabin manufacturers in mind.
This machine has easily accessible and adjustable heads, which provide quick changeover for short runs and multiple patterns per shift. Four to six 5,300 - 6,300rpm spindles provide a higher grade finish than older style 3,450rpm spindle machines at the same feed speeds or the same finish at higher feed rates. Each head has its own Star Delta motor to provide maximum power for minimum operational cost. Deeper profiling on this planer molder allows for extreme log cabin patterns including rounds up to 9-1/2" in diameter. With an aggressive Cardan Feed System, this machine provides the ability to mill large timbers with low maintenance costs.
Optional Enhancements:
» Pre-planing head for removing excess thickness or cleaning dirty material on top face.
» Removable heads for quick changes between straight planing and profiling.
» Out feed device for single piece feeding of timbers and other products.
